I'm immensely proud of the Bugcrowd team, and of the State of Iowa for taking a proactive position here.

I'm incredibly thankful for (and privileged to be a part of) the army of folks who've worked behind the scenes over the past few years to help the States, voting machine manufacturers, and other election infrastructure providers under the role of the hacker as the Internet's Immune System, and the value of "Neighbourhood Watch for The Internet" as a means to increase voter confidence in the systems which support democracy itself.

For other states and vendors looking to follow suit Bugcrowd stands ready to assist, and open-source vulnerability disclosure policy templates tailored to the 2020 US Presidential Elections are also available on the disclose.io Github repo.
