If you’ve started a website or a blog you need to tell the world its there. The slow way is to wait for the search engines to come a find you. The quicker way is to submit your site.

A free service that submits your website to 70+ search engines. My suggestion is NOT to use your own email address (use a throwaway address from www.mailinator.com or similar).  
Be patient with it… It looks like it is doing nothing for about 30 seconds.
